Wonderful Wonderland

In our newest video, Clare Johnson goes on an exciting and wonderful adventure! Watch along as Clare, playing Alice, gets to meet new characters and explore fun areas of wonderland! Unfortunately for her, the Red Queen gets word of Alice invading her kingdom from the dubious Cheshire Cat, and sends her card guards to capture her! Will the Mad Hatter be able to help Alice escape back to her own world?

Hair and Makeup

Hair and Makeup took a lot of preperation on this set to get the wonderland feel! Eaden plated her face with gold leaf for a Mad-Hatter look, whereas Jackie died all of her hair bright red! The hair dye was supposed to be temporary, but ended up staying in for over 3 months, giving Jackie a constant Red Queen look! :)

Costumes

Costumes were fun and fairly easy for this video, as most of them were already on hand! Eaden had her costume left over from Halloween, and Emma's grandmother had already swen her an Alice dress the previous year completly from scratch! The idea for the Red Queen's neck of cards came form Sky, who suggested Jackie where a necklace of playing cards to add to ther costume.

Into Town

After a long and hot (but fun!) day of filming, Violet was ready for coffee! So, the team made their way downtown to get some iced drinks in full costume! After posing by the coffee shop for some magazine-style shots, they proceeded to walk about town and turn curious heads as they flounced their styles!

Props and Scenes

Sme of these scenes had elaborate props and set up, such as the mad hatter's tea party. Some, however, such as the paint fight, just required a few buckets of paint and some brushes! The clean-up, however, took a signifigant amount of time, and Eaden still claims to be brushing paint out of her hair!
