Maleficent's revenge

Check out all the action in this newest video!

Our newest video is an all-action video, which means we've bypassed lip-synching to pack in as much action as possible! Violet Lin stars as the devilish Maleficent, who not only curses the young and innocent Sleeping Beauty (played by JPLO), but then continues to plot her revenge for the world.

Characters

Meet the Characters of this video!

Violet Lin plays Maleficent in this video, an evil sorceress who is out for revenge!

This video would sorely lack excitment if it weren't for Maleficent's evil minions! Here they are at their epitome of evil, as they help Maleficent train to take over the world!

The fairies of this video help bring all the action to the forefront, representing the rest of the people hurt by Maleficent's actions. Pictured here are the Fairy of Virtue (Phia the Warrior) and the Fairy of Dance (Jamie Foy).

Clare Johnston plays the elder version of Sleeping Beauty, capturing the violent effects of Maleficent's power-hungry hunt in her acting!

Costumes!

Check out all the behind-the-scenes action of the costumes for this video!

Maleficent's headress was by far the most complicated costume we had. It needed to be secured into place with about a million hairclips!

Maleficent's makeup was done by Clare Johnston, who did an excellent job on the dragon scales!

Phia the Warrior was in charge of Maleficent's fake nails!

For those of you who did not already know, Clare sewed this dress herself for this scene! That's right people, we have our own costume department!

Maleficent's evil cape adds just the right touch.

A big shout-out to Eaden Aledia, who did a lot for the costumes for this video! Along with creating the wings with help from Jackson Walker, Eaden Aledia also provided most of the fairy costumes, including the one pictured here. On top of all that, she sewed many useful accessories for this video, including Emma's beautiful sleeves that match her dress perfectly!

Stunts/Effects!

Jamie Foy is a natural dancer, and her entire dancing scene was not only done from her own choreogrphy, but she also danced it barefoot since her shoes kept slipping off!

Maleficent's ability to blow fire like a dragon is a simple effect done using cornstarch, and this scene was set up in such a way as to allow Jackson M. Walker to step in as a stunt for the fire-blowing scene.

This scene with Sleeping Beauty was lit with real candlelight!

The smoky backdrop for Maleficent's plotting scene was a perfect setting provided by our Effects team, headed by John Paul Bram.
