Learn More About the People Of RDP!

About Our Team!

Meet the people of Red Dress Productions! Learn more about us in front of and behind the camera!

In 2013, Red Dress Productions got its start when Juliet Lucas hosted its first-ever film camp. The result of this camp was a 23-minute film titled "A Girls Dream." Since then, the RDP community has greatly expanded to include more people, equipment, and filming locations. RDP has grown to promoting authors, collaborating with fellow mixed-media artists, and working with local film companies.

Juliet Lucas

Juliet Lucas, or "Jules," as her friends call her, started Red Dress Productions in 2013. For the first few years of the company, she performed under the surname Jackson Marie Walker. She has always been interested in filmmaking, and wanted to be an actress when she was younger. As she grew up, she discovered the wonderful world at work behind the camera, and decided to switch to cinematography and directing. Her main roles in RDP are screenwriter, director, cinematographer, and editor of their major works. Her favorite roles are behind the camera, but occasionally she will venture before the lense for a role. Her favorite role has been the difficult best friend in "Angel Wings." Her favorite film to direct was "Venna the Witchhunter," and her favorite film to edit was "Wonderful Wonderland." Her current favorite film that RDP has done was "Where Shadows go in the Dark." As well as working on videos, Jackie enjoys reading, baking, and photography. Jackie loves working with her friends to build Red Dress Productions as a filmmaking company, and hopes that you enjoy watching RDP!

Clare Johnston

Clare has had a passion for acting since she was young. After attending multiple Red Dress Productions movie camps, she switched her after-school activity from gymnastics to theater classes in order to hone her skills. She has been a longtime member of Red Dress Productions, and has been with the group since its start in 2013. She is a prominent on-screen actress, and is also head of RDP's makeup department. Her favorite film so far has been "Wonderful Wonderland," because she loved the variety of scenes the film included. The hardest scene for her to film was the underwater tea party in that short. Besides being an excellent makeup artist, she is also responsible for multiple of the wonderful props in RDP's films. The hardest piece she's been responsible for so far was the headpiece from Maleficent. Besides acting, Clare loves writing, debate, and sewing her own dresses!
